I am honored to be part of WASWAK as a young person who promises to promote advocacy of the youth and women in the water sector. Our mission as an association is to emphasize the importance of unity in embracing challenges we encounter on a daily basis in the water sector. WASWAK also highlights the significance of mobilization in advocating for fair wages, professional growth, safe workplaces, and sustainable policies. While challenges may differ among departments and regions, the collective goal is common. Encouraging collaborative dialogue, solidarity, and mutual support can lead to a stronger and more resilient water sector through teamwork and respect.I wish to promote open communication, transparent leadership, and advocacy for every water sector worker’s recognition, dignity, and progress. The call is for workers to stand united and mobilized in progressing towards a better future for the water sector.
